"Political Principles and major events shape how people form governments."
  • From this Main Idea, brainstorm what events prior to the American Revolution contributed to the way the choice of what type of government would be used for the new government.
  • Ultimately, the goal is discuss the different types of government and brainstorm on a possible choices the Founding Fathers' had

2) Coming of the Revolution
A quick review of the events leading up to the American Revolution. While we moved about the room matching up with people to make a full line of events in Periods 1&3, Period 4 completed a sheet of matching events with their descriptions. Afterwards we used this PowerPoint to quickly go over the events.


Homework
Complete the Systems of Government worksheet using the PowerPoint on the website.
