On the computers in the Media Center the class participated in a Scavenger Hunt. Using the Organization of Congress pages toward the back of the Homework Packet the class used the Internet to search the websites given on each page of the handout to complete the charts for the Federal Legislature and the State Legislature.

2) Redistricting
Once you are finished, try your hand at the Redistricting Game. Take a look at what it takes to redraw Congressional Districts. You will be lost if you don't read the directions!

  • Finish watching "The Ghosts of Mississippi" and submit the movie guide.
  • "Do I Have A Right?" Simulation Game in the computer lab. Try your hand at running a law firm - hire lawyers, direct clients to the correct lawyer for their problem. Not as easy as it sounds, but more fun than it sounds. No need to register, just Click "No Thanks" and read the directions as you go!
