1) Propaganda Techniques
After turning in the homework, we looked at and discussed some of the videos (from The Living Room Candidate) the students found most intriguing.
2) How a Bill Becomes Law
After a brief introduction, we began watching the classic movie, "Mr Smith Goes to Washington." Although no movie guide is assigned, it doesn't mean one can't be if necessary to make sure students are paying attention.
