We continued to look at the make up political parties from the National Committee to local precincts.


3) Primary Elections
Next week is North Carolina's Primary Election, it seemed like a good idea to give a lesson devoted to primary elections to clear up its purpose and to make sense of the who "delegate" thing they talk about in the news.

2) Political Spectrum Survey
Students answered a survey asking students to state how they fell about 20 different political issues. Individual results gave the students an idea to their degree of political liberalism or conservatism. The discussion continued to include how voters should evaluate candidate based on the issues the students find most important - using their responses to the survey.

3) Political Party Organization
We began to look at the political part structure from the National Committee all the way down to precincts.
