1) Who Are Americans?
Students analyzed historic popular metaphors for American culture including the "Melting Pot," "Salad Bowl," and "Cultural Mosaic." They were then asked to create their own metaphor for American Culture with an illustration.
Period 3

Finished a review of the naturalization process.
Students answered 100 potential questions that could appear on a citizenship exam.
