Motivation for the Week:
"Anger makes your mouth work faster than your mind."
- Joe Moore

Important: For Periods 1&3 we will be handling Homework Packets differently for the remainder of the semester.
  • Homework Packets will be collected at the end of each unit, on test day. It will be graded as a homework assignment.
  • Crossword puzzles will continue to receive a grade individually, not as part of the Homework Packet grade.
  • Homework Packets will receive a score from 0 - 10 and will be graded wholistically on both accuracy and completion.
  • In order to be eligible for Test Corrections, a student must earn an 8.5 or greater on their Homework Packet. Please note, a late Homework Packet cannot earn a grade higher than a 7, automatically making the student ineligible for Test Corrections.
Agenda
Periods 1&4

1) Bell Ringer

2) Voting
Went over the information for the corresponding page in the packet (as assigned for homework). The problem with the homework, which I did not realize until after several students brought it to my attention last night, is most of the information was not actually in the textbook. Below is the information to fill into the page with a couple of slides of extra notes to add.

3) Learning Teams
We set up our Learning Teams for the rest of the semester. These will be the people we work with from now on when we work in groups. The first thing we did in our Learning Teams was to come up with a team name and a logo/crest.

Period 3
1) QUIZ
POLITICAL SYSTEM CYCLE
